2. Understanding Escrow
Torzon uses a standard Escrow system. When you pay, funds go to the market multisig wallet, not the vendor. Funds are released only when you click "Finalize". Never Finalize Early (FE) unless the vendor has Level 10 status and you trust them implicitly. -
3. PGP Encryption
Although Torzon has an "Auto-Encrypt" feature, we recommend manually encrypting your shipping address using the Vendor's PGP key in Kleopatra. This ensures that even if the server is compromised, your address remains hidden.

Becoming a Torzon Vendor
Torzon is an exclusive marketplace. We do not allow just anyone to sell. To maintain high quality, we require a Vendor Bond and strict adherence to our retail policies.
The $500 Vendor Bond
To activate a seller account, you must deposit $500 USD equivalent in Monero (XMR) or Bitcoin. This bond acts as insurance. If you scam a customer, this bond is used to refund them. If you close your shop honorably, the bond is returned to you.
Waiver Policy: Established vendors from Dread, Archetyp, or ASAP (archived) can apply for a waiver. You must provide PGP-signed proof of identity from a reputable market profile.

The Process:
- Negotiation Phase: Buyer and Vendor have 48 hours to resolve the issue directly via encrypted chat.
- Moderator Review: If unresolved, a moderator enters the chat. They will review the vendor's T&C, shipping proof, and the buyer's account history.
- Decision: The moderator can issue a Full Refund, Partial Refund, or Release Funds to the vendor. This decision is final.
Tip for Buyers: Video record the opening of your package (unboxing video). This is the strongest evidence you can provide in a dispute.
Unlike other markets that use simple feedback averages, Torzon uses a complex Trust Level Algorithm to prevent "feedback padding" (fake reviews).
Factors influencing Trust Level:
- Volume Weighting: A review from a transaction worth $1000 carries more weight than ten reviews from $5 transactions. This prevents vendors from selling cheap e-books to boost stats.
- Account Age of Buyer: Feedback from new accounts (less than 1 month old) counts for 50% less towards the score.

Vendors reach Level 10 (Elite) only after 12 months of activity, $100,000+ in sales volume, and a dispute rate below 1%.
