The Mnemonic Phrase:
Your Only Lifeline
Unlike traditional websites, Torzon Market does not store email addresses. This means there is no "Forgot Password" link that sends a reset email to your inbox.
Upon successful registration, the system will generate a random 12-word Mnemonic Seed Phrase. This phrase is cryptographically linked to your account's private key. It is displayed ONLY ONCE.
If you lose your password, this phrase is the only mathematical way to recover your account and funds. If you lose both your password and your mnemonic, your account is permanently inaccessible, even to the site administrators.

The Architecture of Anonymity
Creating a Torzon account is more than just a username. It initiates a sequence of cryptographic protocols designed to shield your identity from network analysis and blockchain tracking.
Data Salting
Your password is never stored in plain text. We use bcrypt with a unique salt for every user. Even if the database is leaked, your password remains mathematically secure against rainbow table attacks.
The PIN Code
Your 6-digit PIN is separate from your login password. It acts as a "Spending Password". Even if your computer is compromised and you are logged in, a hacker cannot withdraw funds without this secondary code.
Auto-Nuke
Torzon offers an optional "Auto-Nuke" feature. You can set a timer (e.g., 30 days of inactivity) after which your account, history, and messages are permanently deleted from the servers.
Account Types & Vendor Bonds
Torzon Market supports two distinct hierarchies of users. By default, every registration is a "Buyer Account". This allows you to browse listings, deposit crypto, and make purchases via Escrow.
To sell products, you must upgrade to a Vendor Account. This process involves a manual review and a mandatory security deposit known as the "Vendor Bond".
Vendor Bond Specifics (2025)
- Cost: $500 USD (Payable in BTC or XMR).
- Purpose: Deters scammers and low-effort spammers.
- Waiver: Established vendors from other markets (Recon/Dread verified) can apply for a free bond waiver.
- Refundable: No. The bond is a sunk cost for platform integrity.

Registration Protocol (Do's)
Never reuse a username from Reddit, Discord, or gaming forums. Your darknet identity must be completely isolated from your clearweb life.
After registering, go to Security Settings and add your Public PGP Key. This enables 2FA, which stops phishing attacks.
Generate a random 30-character password. Store it in an offline, encrypted password manager database.
Fatal Mistakes (Don'ts)
Credential stuffing is common. If you use the same password as you did on a seized market, your account will be drained.
Torzon support will NEVER ask for your PIN or Mnemonic. Anyone asking for these is a phisher.
Take your time. Verify the URL. Check the PGP signature. Speed leads to mistakes, and mistakes lead to de-anonymization.

Our captchas are case-sensitive and time-limited (60 seconds). Ensure your computer's clock is synchronized with the Tor network. If the image is blurry, refresh the page. Do not use OCR tools.
Yes, creating separate accounts for buying and selling is encouraged for OpSec. However, "shilling" (rating your own products) or evading bans via new accounts will result in a permanent blacklist of your PGP keys.
Email is inherently insecure and traceable. We replace email recovery with Mnemonic Seeds and PGP. This ensures that even if our servers are seized, no database of user emails exists.
Only if you have your Mnemonic Seed Phrase. You can use the "Reset PIN" feature in the settings by confirming your identity via the seed. Without the seed, the PIN cannot be reset.
